Hi, would it be possible to know if the inside of the collars have UHMW plastic (or at least are of a smooth finish) in order to protect from scratching the bar's sleeves when sliding it on and removing? Thank you.

The Fitness Factory

No, they are bare metal. Many clients put hockey stick tape if they want to protect their bar from scratching.

Can the black bar collar be removed and added back onto the chain? Ie using chain around neck to perform dips without collars possible? And then adding back the collars when benching?

The Fitness Factory

Hi Terry,The chain is held in place with a bolt/nut combination. If needed, this can easily be taken apart to use the chain off of the collars.Thank you for your inquiry
