Sweet stand but takes up room!

Very sturdy, solid and stable. I love this stand! I'm using it with a 100lb bag (pushing the limit) and a small speed-bag. You'll need standard plates to stabilize it on the three pins. I use 150 lbs of plate, at 50 lbs a pin. The pins are long so you can stack up the weight on them. This thing is exactly 7'3" tall, so be sure you have the height required­. The design makes it so that it's difficult to tilt it so assemble it where you want to use it, or at least somewhere you can slide it from easily. The assembly was difficult for me because I have the exact height required. I didn't go that way but it's designed to be screwed in the floor too. The speed-bag platform is rather small, so you'll have to stick with a small to medium speed bag. There is an instruction book available online so check it out.

Does this have to be bolted to the floor? if my basement is cement will it be fine just as is.

Hi NicoleThe Deluxe Heavy Bag Stand W/ Speedbag Platform by Fight Monkey - 522DBS has an option on the front two legs to be bolted down to the ground but its not recommended to have the unit bolted you are also able to put weight plates on the pegs to make the unit more sturdy. I personally would recommend having the unit bolted to make it more solid from the heavy bag swaying left to right. Thank you.

Absolutely no way the stand can hold a 100lb bag? I saw a very similar Everest brand one on Amazon, that can hold 100lbs.
