This is probably the single highest value item in my home gym. With this inexpensive item my calves are basically taken care of. Plus it takes zero floor space and setup takes 5 seconds. There are many ways to use this. Personally I grab a kettle bell in one hand, hold on to power rack with other hand, and do calf raises on this thing one leg at a time.

Easy to build, nice size and height. I happened to have wider nonslip tape (for the standing surface) than it came with, so I used that instead of their relatively narrow tape, and it's perfect for my home gym.

The calf block is awesome and is a good price. The shipping cost was way too high though so loses a star for that.

For only $39 this calf raise step is a real bargain. All you need is a sturdy flat bench, a barbell, and weight plates for this item to be effective (assuming you have a basic home gym set-up?). Seated calf raise machines can cost hundreds of dollars, and standing calf raise machines can cost thousands of dollars, besides the extra space required for single stations. Then there are gym memberships that can get pricey in the long haul, besides being pressured into expensive personal training sessions. Bottom line, something is better than nothing, like this calf raise step. Thanks, and would recommend.

Perfect. Sturdy, does not wobble, and I can hide it away under the bed. Provide a step for calf raises since I life in a condo.

Impressed with how beefy this, good weight to it and appears to be 11 gauge steel which is excellent.

Calves are one of the most neglected body parts. Since I received my calf block I’m thankful and now I’m training my calves 3 times a week.

Perfect height and 1,000 LB weight capacity is insane. The only problem is the grip tape can come off all on its own if you store it upright on it's side overnight.

This is my second order, the calf block is of high quality and great for growing calves. I've been using this block for 2 months, and every time I can feel the pain and the stretch in my calves. It makes a big difference, it's not wobbly and the black tape is fixed well to the block preventing any slip during the exercise. In order to balance myself during the exercise I put the block under a door pull up bar or by catching a bar placed on a rack. To increase resistence I am using a weighted dip belt or doing the exercise with one leg. Overall it's a great product at a good price.
