It is very solid and stable. Well built. Instructions aren't the greatest but assembly was still pretty easy (1-2 hours). Unbelievable quality for the price. Was very surprised once I put it all together - not sure why anyone would buy a more expensive one.

I tried to contact the shipping company and they still have not found it.

This is the perfect addition to my home gym. I had previosly purchase a lat pull down that could be set up outside a rack, but it really was useless as the weight post limited range of movement. But this is ideal. As it attaches to the rack its outbof the way and you can do full body workout outside of lat pull downs like face pulls, cable kick backs and more. As others have commented the instructions arent helpful, but if you’ve put the rack together you can do this. I found that taking screen shots of the finished product and expanding them helped get a better visual. For the price its second to none!!

Once you decipher the "instructions" (it's just a sheet with a diagram of the unit), it went together easily and works as expected. I am very happy with this purchase. I was going to spend $100 more to get the Ironax brand one that looks exactly the same. Shipping was fast. Overall great value and first experience ordering from Treadmill Factory. Thanks!

I gave it a 4 star due to the terrible installation nstructions. And the bars that come with the fit505 are cheep. The fit505 attachment itself is great and is a great addition to my home gym.

I was surprised how smooth everything worked with the weights on. Very happy with the purchase. The setup diagram was hard to read needs to be better.

Is slide very well. I think it’s great. Can’t do wide grip pull-ups yet but this definitely makes those muscles work.

The lat-pull down attachment is great for an at home gym. My only concern is that the loading bar won’t hold up as I’m using weight plates for an Olympic bar. With that said I’m happy with my purchase and even happier it was so easy to put together.

Great add on. Expands the possibilities. Bought a triceps rope to use with it. Comes with a pull down bar and a biceps straight bar.
Very pleased overall but gave it a 4 stars because instructions are unclear. This is unacceptable. It would take no more than an hour to write clear instructions.

Excellent addition that allows you to do additional exercises , however the assembly instructions are terrible. And if using olympic plates you will need to buy adapters.

I received this as an early Chrisrmas gift from my wife to accompany my fit505 power rack(best purchase I have ever made, I cannot recommend this rack enough!).
Treadmillfactory continues to blow my mind away with their excellent shipping. We received it 2 work days after we put the order, just like all previous orders. You'll be hard pressed to find a more reliable shipper.
As for the product itself, I'd give it a 7/10. While it is excellent value for money, and something I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others, I have a few grievances.
1) the instructions leave a lot to be desired. I have a bit of a hard time properly seeing and distinguishing how I'm supposed to orient the pieces, or how tight I should screw the bolts.
2) the welds, while functionally sound, are bad. Santa will be getting the person who welded this a grinder to tidy it up!
3) the main metal frame that the weights slide on came scratched, and don't appear to have any rust proofing or paint on it. If its stainless steel this isn't an issue, but I'll be worried for rust in the longterm.
As for the positive,
1) great value for money! It came with a lat pulldown bar and a second bar for tricep pushdowns. I wasn't expecting that, or for them to be well made. All the bolts are nice and beefy, and I have no worries about using this up to 300lbs.
2) the bearing in the pulleys are great and well greased, which leads me to believe it will last a long time and give smooth use for many workouts to come.
3) its well made! Nothing on this feels cheap, minor grievances aside. Everything is bolted down properly, functions as advertised. A little tip, use silicon lubricant on the main guide frame. After doing so, it is smoother than many commercial gym setups I've used.
Overall I am pleased with the product. A missing sticker aside, everything needed for assembly was included, it operates very well and is a great addition to any home gym for the money. If they were to address the issues mentioned, I wouldn't hesitate to give it 5 stars like the 505power rack itself.

Wicked add on, only conplanit is the 1in bar for weights wish it was olypmic

I purchased the Fit505 Power Rack a couple months ago to provide safety for heavier lifting — bench press and squats. I didn’t think the Lat Pull down would be necessary but now that I’ve added the lat attachment, I think I use it just as much as the rack itself. The two pulley locations (upper & lower) can be used with the included lat bar/pull baror you can buy additional attachments. I happened to have a rope pull for triceps and an v-bar for close-grip lat pulls or cross-overs. The 1” support bars are great since I have both 1” weights plus my Olympic weights. The pully is so smooth I don’t even bother using the spring clips when the Olympic weights since they barely move. The only issue I’ve had is that one of the plastic glides (bottom) has come off but the unit still slides perfectly. The assembly guide is not easy to follow so if you buy this unit I would suggest finger tightening the nut/bolts so it’s easier to get everything in place. A socket set will make easy work of the bolts while you hold them in place with the assembly wrenches they provide.
