Great Lat attachment at the right price

I bought this attachment for my rack a month ago and I am highly satisfied. It gives good value for your money. There are small bubbles in the chrome plating of the rail where the weight holding part moves around but such is expected for the price you paid. Yet there is no effect on its function and effectiveness. Clean the rail properly and put a lubricant like 5in1 oil or white grease and you are in business. The assembly instructions need a little more time to decipher but is not rocket science. This attachment sees good action at least twice a week in my routine and is proving to be a really good investment for my health and fitness. Thanks again to my local Mississauga Treadmill Factory store staff, Kurtis.

Hi Ed, the add on Lat option adds 17 to the depth of the rack. The height is 85

Hi there, I just bought this attachment for my power rack and it fits great! But when I'm starting to do Lat pulldowns and I only added just a 45lb plate on each side, it wasn't a smooth pull down and the cable started to shred. I'm concerned that the cable will snap if I continue to use it. Is this normal?Please respond back ASAP so I can decide whether or not if I should return the product.Thank you Harrisan Sivabalan

Harrison, if the cable is shredding that means it is not assembled correctly or you have tightened the pulley too much and it is not rotating freely. This is an assembly issue, not a defect. Secondly, for smoothness, add grease or oil to the guide rods. This is a must if you want a smooth operation of the unit. If you do not have anything in the house, use vegetable or olive oil and you will feel the difference.

Is this compatible with the Fit505 power rack?

It is the same lat option configuration as the regular FIT505 Power Rack (SKU: 4376). It is not compatible with the Fit505 ULTRA rack.
