I love the rower, my only complaint is the monitor is almost glitchy, and does not work properly without the other battery. It takes a long time to charge, and I have completely workouts before the monitor will work properly. The second battery should have been included or at least offered at a cost. But overall very happy

I was looking for a air rower to go along with my other fitness equipment for my home gym. After reading the other reviews on the fitness factory website I choose the XM model. It was the same price as a treadmill that I was also interested in however I decided to go with the air rower. I highly recommended installing the support frame to the fan part first and having another person hold the fan while you install the front stabilizer. It is a lot easier with two people. The fan has a tendency to fall on it side if you try to install it by yourself. I have used it a few times and for the price I do recommend it. I purchased mine when it was on sale and chose the free home delivery. It took just over 3 weeks for the driveway drop off so if your not in a rush I would just go with that option. I live about 2.5 hours from the Barrie location and I wasn't in a rush to receive it. 5/5

Amazing rower. To my door was cheaper than a C2. Fast shipping. Console is a little glitchy but not a big deal.

Easy to put together and sturdy once assembled. It may not be a “Concept 2” but you can’t tell the difference, it is just as good and it is cheaper. Assembly couldn’t be easier: put the stand on then connect the two parts and your done. In the manual they talk about the cables but that is all done before you get it. It is a great machine and I think it will last a long time.

great rower. really enjoyable. took a bit to break in. my only cons are that the screen shuts off VERY quickly when you stop but also takes 12-15 seconds to turn on in which the screen flickers. I am getting used to it.
the more cumbersome piece was that the manual said it included a space to hold a tablet/smart phone, but I did not receive such a piece. This is disappointing and I am hoping someone can contact me with regards to this.
Seat is comfortable, the resistance is great, awesome features in terms of what is available on the menu. I enjoy this machine a lot and I am excited to continue to work out with it as we continue on into the winter.

This rower is top notch and even though I’ve never used a Concept2 I can tell you that the build quality is there - quality parts and accessories. Runs extremely smooth and quiet. Definitely worth every penny and will last a lifetime compared to bargain options!

Easy to set up, high quality product. The XM fitness rower cost a lot less than the concept 2 and the quality and ride feel the same.

Wanted a Concept 2 but couldn’t reason spending the extra cash, though didn’t want to waste my money on something cheap. Not many reviews on the XM Fitness rower, but those that existed were good. Took a chance and have been impressed so far. Feels much the same, with a comfier seat. Can’t comment on the accuracy of the display, but seems close to data I had on the Concept 2 (it’s been a while). Will have to see whether it stands the test of time, but so far I’ve been pleased.

This rower blew me away. I was skeptical with the 5-star reviews but this machine truly deserves it. It is easy to put together--8 screws and some push and snap and away you....row! Even the manual is great as it shows how to replace parts should you need after a few years.

So quiet--so smooth--just an amazing product. Foot pads are adjustable in length to accommodate many sized feet and the body length has two options--you get to decide when putting it together. Well worth the money--especially with payment plan offered!!!

Easy to assemble. after 1 month of use . Solid, holds my 250+lbs without concerns. Smooth and quiet. Gym quality. Worth every penny.

Assembly was easy. The machine gives a solid full body workout. Also, the machine is surprisingly quiet. I highly recommend!

Its works....I shopped around and came back to The Treadmill Factory because of price and service. This is the 4th piece of equipment that I've purchased from TMF......they are the best!

I purchased this item for my home gym, i always used Concept 2 rower at my local box. It's really the same feeling, i'm glad to bought this one instead of concept 2. The only differences are the seat is more soft, the console have less option than PM5 but the essentiel.
And the shipping is free!

Purchased this unit because Concept 2 was sold out during COVID. Was hesitant at first but all I can say is the feel and quality is identical. I am so happy that I didn't hesitate to purchase this rower. Would recommend this rower to anyone on the fence.

I purchased this rower because Concept 2 was sold out everywhere. I'm SOOO glad that I did. Everything is virtually the same except the seat is a bit more comfortable and the console comes with a rechargeable battery versus C2 that uses disposable. I highly recommend to anyone else looking for a rower.

Same feel as C2. Pros and cons. Pro: Seat is more comfortable than a C2. Con: the XM handle is too flexible. Energy loss. I ordered a C2 handle and it fit perfectly. Delivered cost for new handle was about $36CDN - well worth the extra few bucks.

Excellent quality rower, I'm really happy with my purchase. Before owning this one, I had only ever used a Concept 2, and this one is basically identical. It functions just like the concept, and I honestly can't tell the difference when I'm rowing. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great and versatile piece of equipment!

I purchased this rower just before Christmas. I can't say enough good about it. I use it on alternating days for 45 minutes. No issues. I especially like the cable/chain. I get nauseous when rowing so I can't watch a screen therefore I don't think the C2 would have been worth the extra money for me.

Like others I purchased this rower because the Concept 2 was not available.
It is smooth, quiet, and great workout!!
