Trends for Spring: Wearables and Trackables

Trends for Spring: Wearables and Trackables

According to Canadian fitness pros the trends we see in regards to fitness (as we lead up to spring) for 2025, seem to be focused on quality of life and longevity – including an emphasis on recovery, and integrating data driven apps and wearable tech.

Compared to former focus, the goal for “fitness” (as an outlet) is no longer JUST about aesthetic goals, but performance and consistency of your routine being seen as a means to resilience and better preparation insomuch as being a cross-section of overall health.  Fitness: strength, cardio, mobility, recovery and even mental health practices are being packaged as a holistic approach, with the main goal being living better, for longer, and training into your golden years, vs just striving to be THIN. Again, we see an uptick in the importance of strength training (for all ages and genders) to improve quality of life and tracking metrics.

We are seeing the wider public take more interest into HOW what they are doing (for workouts) is actually working for them, and the use of data-tracking apps and wearable tech – which help with keeping ahead of your progress and assisting with programming, are on the rise.  These are shown to be beneficial and more realistic tools for those for whom personal trainers or training labs may not be accessible.

Whatever your goals may be, we have everything you need to improve your all around fitness – strength, cardio, mobility or recovery – and even trackable fitness apps and tech (including cardio machine connectivity, and iFit memberships) available online at treadmillfactory.ca and in our stores.
