Hex Bar

The Hex bar (or Trap bar) is most used in the gym for deadlifting as an alternative to the traditional straight bar deadlift. The Hex bar will put less stress on the lower back, especially at the start of the movement by centering the body in the middle of the bar (as opposed to behind the bar for traditional deadlifts). This makes this bar a common choice for people with back problems.

Safety Squat Bar

The Safety Squat bar is a very versatile piece of equipment that can be used to help increase strength on your squat while reducing risk of injury. The idea is that the bar helps keep you in a more upright position, which helps put the load directly on your centre of gravity decreasing the load on the lower back.
