Warranty Information

If a shipped item arrives damaged, please fill out the online claim form at OrderSupport.ca.
Do not send the item back to us directly.

If you believe an item is defective:

• Do not return the item without prior evaluation.
• Please send pictures and/or videos to service@treadmillfactory.ca.
• The Treadmill Factory will assess and evaluate the situation to confirm if the item is indeed defective and not a result of improper assembly or misuse.

• The Treadmill Factory is a distributor and retailer of fitness equipment.
• We rely on our manufacturing partners to uphold product warranties.
• Manufacturers may use authorized third-party service providers for assessments and repairs.
• The Treadmill Factory will facilitate the administrative process where necessary.

• Units with defects out of the box or occurring in the field may include a labour warranty that covers a technician’s visit.
• The Treadmill Factory does not refund, exchange, or remove any product that is repairable.
• If a unit is deemed unrepairable, the transportation cost for return or replacement will be the purchaser's responsibility.
• The Treadmill Factory reserves the right to:
  1. Send replacement parts, and/or
  2. Replace a defective part.

• Products designated as residential are intended for personal, in-home use only. These products are not warranted for use in commercial, institutional, or non-residential settings.

Parts from Canada:

• Replacement parts can be picked up at our Markham, ON location.
• The end user is responsible for arranging delivery or pick-up of warranty or faulty parts/products.

Parts from the U.S.:

• These are shipped directly to the customer.
• The customer is responsible for any applicable duty, brokerage, or shipping charges.

• In-home labour: Dispatch fees apply.
• In-shop labour is covered at our location:
  • 505 Cochrane Dr., Markham, Ontario

• A manufacturer’s warranty covers defects in workmanship.
• Warranties do not cover wear and tear items, including but not limited to:
  • Walking belts
  • Cosmetic parts
  • Worn decks
  • DC motor brushes
  • Bike cranks
  • Pedals
  • Seats
  • Neoprene handles
  • Any other parts worn through regular use
• Warranties cover only defects caused by the manufacturing process.

• The warranty becomes void under the following conditions:
  • Failure to perform proper maintenance
  • Use of the wrong lubricant (especially for treadmills)
  • Improper or incorrect assembly of the equipment
• Misassembly is not covered under warranty.
• Corrective service for misassembly will incur applicable charges.

This Warranty applies to applies only in the United States and Canada to weightlifting equipment (such as benches, racks and functional trainers) manufactured or distributed by ELEMENT FITNESS™ under the ELEMENT FITNESS name. The warranty period to the original purchaser is:

• Lifetime on the Frame
• Parts (excluding cables, handles, and pulleys): 3 years.
• Cables, Handles and Pulleys: 90 days (limited to wear and tear from normal use).
• Cardiovascular equipment (bike, rower, treadmill etc.) will have a variance in warranty depending on the specific model. The labor is in shop only and does not include a technician to be sent to your facility. Dispatch and transport fees are additional.
  1. ELEMENT FITNESS warrants that the Product you have purchased from ELEMENT FITNESS or from an authorized ELEMENT FITNESS reseller is free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.
  2. Your sales receipt, showing the date of purchase of the Product, is your proof of the date of purchase.
  3. This warranty extends only to you, the original purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases the product from you.
  4. Warranty excludes paint and finish.
  5. This Warranty becomes VALID ONLY if the Product is assembled / installed according to the instructions / directions included with the Product and not altered in any manner.

During the warranty period ELEMENT FITNESS will at no additional charge, repair or replace (at ELEMENT FITNESS’ option) the Product if it becomes defective, malfunctions, or otherwise fails to conform with this Warranty under normal use. In repairing the product ELEMENT FITNESS may replace defective parts or, at the option of ELEMENT FITNESS, serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and Products replaced under this warranty will become the property of ELEMENT FITNESS. ELEMENT FITNESS reserves the right to change manufacturers of any part to cover any existing warranty.

Warranty Service

• To obtain warranty service, you must return the Product to ELEMENT FITNESS in its original container (or equivalent). You must pre-pay any shipping charges, export taxes, customs duties and taxes, or any other charges associated with transportation of the Product. In addition, you are responsible for insuring any Product shipped or returned. You assume the risk of loss during shipment. You must present ELEMENT FITNESS with proof-of-purchase documents (including the date of purchase). Any evidence of alteration, erasing or forgery of proof-of-purchase documents will be cause to void this Warranty.

This Warranty does not extend to any Product not purchased from ELEMENT FITNESS or from an authorized ELEMENT FITNESS reseller. This Warranty does not extend to any Product that has been damaged or rendered defective; (a) as a result of accident, misuse, or abuse; (b) by the use of parts not manufactured or sold by ELEMENT FITNESS; (c) by modification of the Product; (d) as a result of service by anyone other than ELEMENT FITNESS, or an authorized ELEMENT FITNESS warranty service provider. Should any product submitted for Warranty service be found to be ineligible, an estimate of repair cost will be furnished, and the repair will be made if requested by you upon ELEMENT FITNESS’ receipt of payment or acceptable arrangement of payment.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY ELEMENT FITNESS MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ELEMENT FITNESS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES NOT STATED IN THIS WARRANTY. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE IMPOSED BY LAW ARE LIMITED TO THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY. NEITHER ELEMENT FITNESS NOR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that may vary from state to state/ province to province. This is the only express warranty applicable to ELEMENT FITNESS branded products. ELEMENT FITNESS neither assumes nor authorizes anyone to assume for it any other express warranty.

—Warranty is not applicable outside the United States and Canada— For service, please contact the retailer you purchased from or visit www.requestservice.ca. Original purchaser must pre-pay all freight charges on warranty claims. ELEMENT FITNESS will not accept Freight Collect shipments or return shipments on a freight collect basis.

This Warranty applies only in the United States and Canada to products manufactured or distributed by Ironax Fitness™ under the Ironax Fitness name. The warranty period to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects is:

• Lifetime on the Frame
• 1 year on parts (excluding cables, handles, and pulleys which are 90 days).
  1. Ironax Fitness warrants that the Product you have purchased for non-commercial, personal, family, or household use from Ironax Fitness or from an authorized Ironax Fitness reseller is free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.
  2. IronAx XC Line Equipment: Designed for both residential and light commercial use, with a lifetime warranty on the frame, 1 year on parts, and 90 days on cables, handles, and pulleys.
  3. Your sales receipt, showing the date of purchase of the Product, is your proof of the date of purchase.
  4. This warranty extends only to you, the original purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases the product from you.
  5. Warranty excludes paint and finish.

All exchanged parts and Products replaced under this warranty will become the property of FIT505. FIT505 reserves the right to change manufacturers of any part to cover any existing warranty

Original purchaser must pre-pay all freight charges on warranty claims. FIT505 will not accept Freight Collect shipments or return shipments on a freight collect basis.

This Warranty applies only in the United States and Canada to products manufactured or distributed by XM FITNESS™ under the XM FITNESS name. The warranty period to the original purchaser is:

• Lifetime on the Frame
• 2 years on parts (excluding cables, handles, and pulleys which are 1 year and exclude wear and tear).
• 1 year labor for cardiovascular equipment (bike, rower, treadmill etc). The labor is in shop only and does not include transportation or a technician to be sent to your facility.
  1. XM FITNESS warrants that the Product you have purchased from XM FITNESS or from an authorized XM FITNESS reseller is free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.
  2. Your sales receipt, showing the date of purchase of the Product, is your proof of the date of purchase.
  3. This warranty extends only to you, the original purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases the product from you.
  4. Warranty excludes paint and finish.
  5. This Warranty becomes VALID ONLY if the Product is assembled / installed according to the instructions / directions included with the Product and not altered in any manner.

During the warranty period XM FITNESS will at no additional charge, repair or replace (at XM FITNESS’s option) the Product if it becomes defective, malfunctions, or otherwise fails to conform with this Warranty under normal use. In repairing the product XM FITNESS may replace defective parts or, at the option of XM FITNESS, serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and Products replaced under this warranty will become the property of XM FITNESS. XM FITNESS reserves the right to change manufacturers of any part to cover any existing warranty.
