TRUE Fitness PS100 Treadmill

Great treadmill for the serious runner

I've competed in marathons and halfs and was looking for a gym quality treadmill that can run on your outlet at home where I can train. This is a very heavy, solid, durable treadmill made for a serious runner. It won't fold up nor does it make a good coat rack, this one is for training. Both my wife and I use it daily. I've now had it close to a year and a half and would strongly recommend this for anyone who puts a lot of km down or needs a quality treadmill for training that can handle hard intervals and high speed. For starters i have experience on all the precors and other big brands and the biggest difference for the home buyer is the motor warranty. True fitness is by far the best warranty. I put my ps100 through hard intervals every day going through the max elevation and speed for long durations and it has never once had even the slightest problem. The belt has never needed re adjustment or slipped like on cheaper brands however I do lube it at the recommended interval. The track is huge, giving you tons of room, you will never hit the side or back. It is fairly quiet even running over 9mph, I would train while my newborn was sleeping and it never woke him up. The ps100 will memorize changes in speed/elevation so you can save your intervals. the picture doesn't do it justice, the side/arm rails are plenty long to grab onto. It came with a Polar hr monitor that works great. Don't let a precor salesman fool you into buying precor instead by saying precors don't need "messy" belt lube(they use wax) and so they are not messy... It takes 10 minutes to lube and re adjust a true fitness belt and a child can do it without a mess. My treadmill sits in a carpeted room on a homemade wood base, there is zero vibration and someone sitting next to you won't feel anything while its maxed out, my wife has her bike trainer right beside it. Fantastic treadmill. Bottom line you get what you pay for, there is a reason for the price. the service at the treadmill factory was amazing. I live far away but decided to buy here based on service and brand and so I shipped it to my house and even the shippers stayed and made sure I was comfortable with everything. They offered a demo on all required maintenance and were super friendly.
