NordicTrack X24 Bike: Buying Guide & FAQs
The NordicTrack X24 Bike combines indoor cycling with a physically changing ride angle: its listed range runs from -10% decline to 20% incline. A pivoting 24" touchscreen and 24 levels of Silent Magnetic Resistance make it a different proposition from a stationary bike that changes resistance alone.
Who should choose the X24 Bike?
Consider it if you want a connected cycling setup that includes both resistance changes and a changing frame angle. The screen can turn for training beside the bike, and the included pair of 3 lb dumbbells adds an option for suitable off-bike sessions. Allow space around the bike for those workouts.
Does it use cycling shoes or ordinary trainers?
The listed dual-sided pedals have SPD compatibility on one side and toe clips with straps on the other. Check that your cleats match the pedal standard before buying cycling shoes. Take time to set saddle and handlebar positions for each rider; pedal compatibility does not establish whether the overall bike fit is right for you.
How does it compare with the S24 Studio Bike?
Both listings offer a 24" screen and 24 resistance levels. The X24 specifically lists -10% decline to 20% incline. Do not assume every NordicTrack bike has that frame movement; compare the S24’s exact features if resistance-led cycling is your main priority.
How much room does it need?
The listed footprint is 56.4" L x 21.8" W x 62.7" H, with a 350 lb user capacity. Allow room for safely getting on and off, screen rotation and frame movement, following the manual’s clearance requirements. Check the bike’s position at incline before choosing a low-ceiling room.
What do iFIT and streaming require?
Full trainer-led content and connected features need a compatible paid iFIT membership and internet access. Membership purchase and renewal terms depend on the offer. Entertainment services may also need separate subscriptions; the touchscreen does not mean every app is available.
