Fit505 Rack / Functional / Smith

It arrived in 4 boxes on a skid. Dropped in the driveway, which is exactly what was expected. Delivery driver was very kind, and took the time to drop the skid exactly where I asked him to drop it, easiest access to the door.

Open all the boxes entirely, remove each item from the packaging, and lay out. Some of the packages contain Tools that are easily missed. Also? I would strongly suggest using your own tools. Wrench with a socket wrench will become your best friend.

Assembly was . .. frustrating. A lot of trial and error. Take your time tightening bolts - ensure everything is lined up - If you're having to force a piece into position, something is off - and it's gonna make it near impossible to finish the assembly.

Overall, the Gym has met my expectations. It's extremely functional - cables and pulleys are surprisingly smooth -Smith Machine in my basement is just absolutely fantastic -

It's not Commercial Grade. There's a bit of a wobble to it when using the Smith, but I mean . . it by no means feel unstable. It feels perfectly solid.

I'm really happy with this thing. I'm kind of blow away I have this Gym in my home at this Price Point. It's great. I'm happy.

The item is as described no the most sturdy thing on earth but you get what you pay for probably wont break for at least 5-10 years of regular use.

only thing to note is the shipped bar is a small diameter bar not the regular sized ones.

What a beautiful and nice to use product! But such a pain in the ass to assemble, stop wondering how can they make such a nice machine for that low a price, you'll understand when you'll see their half-assed stapled "instructions". Great idea to ask for a review a couple of weeks later. I'd probably have given 2 stars had I had to fill it the same day! Expect a full day guessing, searching, swearing. Three steps forward, two steps back, until you're done! Good luck!

Amazing and super functional addition to the machine I was able to use the regular weights by changing the settings, and pulling both cables and lock them in place , to have xtra space in the smith machine, I believe a smith machine can be a life changing with moderation and uplifting at certain times when gyms are too packed or overused, I appriaciate we have a treadmillfactory store for everyone to start a journey in fitness and strenght...

I need to add some oil/grease to the pulley and some final adjustment on top as the Smith bar doesn't align with the holes on top but that's I believe just some adjustments to do on my part, overall happy with the price and delivery.

Functionality using this rack is great. Very easy to get a decent workout in. Slightly unstable when using the smith, but nothing extreme. As others have mentioned, the instructions for assembly are not great, but if you know how to read a schematic, you'll do fine. Definitely not for someone who is used to step by step details. For the price of this compared to other similar units, there are no complaints.

I am extremely happy with my purchase. Shipping (LTD) was excellent with no damages incurred. As other reviewers have stated, instructions aren't the best but manageable. Took myself 3 hours to assemble. This is a solid piece of equipment to add to your gym, for the price point I am very impressed!

Get but

Great multifunctional piece of equipment, adds a pile of new work out options to my workout routine, overall really easy to put together and very solid when all assembled strongly recommend this unit for anyone who’s is creating a home gym .

The instructions are as basic as you get but if you take your time it’s only about a day to put together. Make sure you measure the bolts. Mine were miss packed so I had some troubleshooting to find the already used bolts I needed.
The smith bar is too small for my hands, solves with some grips but good to note.

Arrived in just under 2 weeks. Boxes arrived a bit beat up but no parts were missing or damaged. Assembly took approx 6 hours with a helper (14 year old) We have only been using it for a week now but the quality feels good when compared to the cost of other machines. Love that it fit under our low ceiling height

-Easy to assemble (digital color instruction would be nice)
-Lubricant for wheel and smith assembly shall be provided.
- I had to bought extra screws for the silver part of the smith posts due to pop out rivets.

The fit 505 is a really good smith machine for the price. I wwnt and picked it up myself because I don't like large deliveries as there is a high percentage of damaged deliveries out there for different products for different companies. It went together smoothly in a half day . Only problem I had was one pulley had a faulty bearing and I e-mailed the company and the new pulley was at my door the next day. Customer service is great. I highly recommend buying from treadmill factory as I will be making future purchases from here. Make sure to see Kathy as she was a huge help. I've tweaked my smith and can now do more with it. I have a background in fabrication so this was nice to jack up.

The equipment seems to be good quality, the instructions are severely lacking. Took three of us four hours to set up. Half the time was wasted figuring out which bolts to use.

Great machine

Not too bad to assemble, could be a bit more descriptive with instructions. Once assembled very smooth feel to smith and functional trainer.

Overall this is certainly worth it given the price. Good build quality, enjoyable to use. Negatives; poor assembly instructions, limited max height of functional trainer and j cup holes for people 6 ft and taller. I’m 6’1 and the first hole is just below my preferred height. The inside plate loading peg for the pulley system limits one’s movement inside. My knees would hit this when using the smith machine. However it can be raised up and out of the way. The rack is stable enough but the slight wobble of the frame is distracting and may lead to instability when lifting heavy. Despite these shortcomings I do feel it’s well worth the price

This machine is definitely functional and is great use of space for a home gym the instructions are fairly minimal not the best. The only other issue so far is the plastic on the end of the weight holders gets caught on the inside of the weights and breaks off, does not effect the functionality it’s cosmetic but it would be better if they were smaller than the outside diameter or metal.

Easy to install, bearing aluminum pully, very smooth movement for good workout.

Got the machine delivered. But the box was wrapped vertically. So, one of the smith bar had the screw tightened on the bar and thread damage. In fact, a box was completly damaged and parts were loose in the wooden delivery box. And one of the handle attachment with bearing had no bearing in it. But this part is not the fault of the store.

I just emailed the services with picture. The services is really outstanding ! The sent me the replacement parts really fast.

I assembled the machine. Works fine ! I'm really surprised by the quality and toughness of this machine. Smith machine working so smootly. Ok, it may not be a professional machine for a gym. But it's really a good machine for home personal use.

When you see that if you have a problem, the service fix it fast, then you know that it's a really good company.

Really love this unit. Unfortunately, the shipping process was not kind and the smith bar arrived poking out of the box and bent. But I emailed Treadmill Factory customer service with pics and they sent a new bar out right away.

The assembly instructions are not great (as other buyers have noted)....but with a bit of patience, it comes together. There are some good YouTube videos out there as well.

This is a superb rig! It's a power/half rack, a smith machine and a functional trainer all in one. Four large boxes, fits inside my Honda CRV with rear seats folded down. Packaging is excellent; not one single item is not wrapped in bubble wrap, so there are no scratches on the components. Assembly may be a challenge as there is no step-by-step instructions, but if you study the diagrams carefully and follow the markings for all the nut and bolts, then things will be easy.
The functional trainer's cables and pulleys work very smoothly. For a residential grade rig, the smith machine works smoothly. The rig may shake a tiny bit, but that is expected for residential use.
I have a 9' ceiling and this fits just right, with enough clearance for the top most part of the pull-up bar. The machine is only ideal for someone like me who stands 5'10"; anyone taller may find it a challenge as the functional trainer and the smith machine bar don't adjust any higher.
My one gripe is that the supplied nuts and bolts does not match what is indicated in the instructions. As you progress through the build, you may notice that you will run out of some of the bolts that you have used and will end up with longer ones, which was what happened to me so I ended up with some at the latter part of assembly. Nothing missing, though, so it's only a minor thing.
I highly recommend this product, considering you are getting three (four if you include the pull up bar) systems in one. No regrets in the purchase, very satisfied. Quality product, thumbs up!

Ordered this and had it delivered and installed in the basement, its worth the extra fees the delivery guys were quick and friendly. Daniel, Jay and Ramon did a great job. The product itself is great thus far I've used it a few times with no issues.

Great machine for the price. I’ve been toying with buying a home gym for a while and COVID-19 got me to bite the bullet(first time in 26 years I haven’t had a gym membership). Only downside is it’s a little short for doing lat pull downs but over all it’s a very sturdy versatile machine.
