Horizon Fitness, in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, has issued a safety recall for the T101-05 treadmill due to reports that the treadmills can unexpectedly accelerate, change speed, or stop without user input, posing a fall hazard.

Your safety is our priority. Our records indicate that you purchased a Horizon T101-05 treadmill from our website or from one of our retail stores. You should immediately stop using the treadmill and contact Horizon Fitness for a USB with software repair to install on the treadmill. After registering to participate in the recall, Horizon will send you a USB with a software pre-loaded. If you would like to perform this software installation quicker, you can also download the update directly from the Horizon website to your own USB flash drive (at least 1GB).
