Used as a floor surface to cushion impacts from falling or dropping objects, ease fatigue, reduce joint and muscle stress, and prevent general discomfort and injuries associated with repetitive motion or standing for long periods of time.
Acclimatization Period: All products must acclimatize for at least 24 hours before installation at the same ambient conditions as the finished conditioned space.

A:Yes, this does work perfectly but needs to be glued down. You can also look at our 2' x 2' tiles that do not need to be glued.

Q:As this is rubber, is it cleaned throughly to reduce smell? Or is this best used in commercial gyms? I am looking for a mat that would suit a personal gym and require minimal oder.

A:It is one of the best and lowest odour mats as it is Made in Canada and not an import. You are welcome to visit any of our retail stores to determine the level of rubber smell prior to purchasing. Our puzzle mats are the same material and vendor.

A:If you have a thin carpet, then it should be fine. We would not recommend on thick carpet, especially with under pad.

Q:Would this be a good flooring for a boxing gym?
Is the floor textured for traction.

A:This is GREAT flooring for any gym. For a boxing studio, we recommend that you double side tape or glue it to the ground to avoid side to side movement.

A:absolutely. You just need an exacto knife, and it will cut through it like butter.
