How to Apply Gorilla Rubbercoat

Step 1 – Prepare the Floor
Thoroughly rinse the rubber flooring with clean water.
Make sure dirt, cleaning residue and contaminants have been removed.
Allow the flooring to dry completely before applying Rubbercoat.

Step 2 – Mix
Shake or mix Gorilla Rubbercoat thoroughly before use.

Step 3 – Apply the First Coat
Apply a thin, uniform coat of Rubbercoat using a:
Clean wax mop, or
Microfiber applicator
Do not use a standard cotton mop.

Step 4 – Allow to Dry
Allow the first coat to dry for approximately 30–45 minutes
Drying time can vary depending on environmental conditions.

Step 5 – Apply Second Coat
For optimal results, a second coat is recommended.
Apply the second coat evenly once the first coat has dried.

235 mL vs. 4 L – Which Size Should I Buy?

We offer Gorilla Rubbercoat in two convenient sizes.

Choose 235 mL When:
You are sealing a small home gym, repairing or refreshing a limited area, or only need enough product for a few rubber tiles.

Choose 4 L When:
You are completing a larger home gym, commercial gym, school, studio or full rubber flooring installation.

For projects using several 4' × 25' rubber rolls, the 4 L size provides substantially better value.
