Do I need an active iFIT Pro subscription to use the Ultra 1?
No. The Ultra 1 works fully in manual mode without a paid subscription, but a free iFIT account is required to activate the machine. An iFIT Pro membership adds trainer-led classes, global workout options, and Smart Spine™ performance tracking for on-screen metrics and guided sessions.
What kind of delivery is included?
Free standard shipping is included with your Ultra 1 Reformer. This means that it will be delivered to the first place out of the weather, if possible. Please review shipping options at checkout if you would prefer another shipping option.
Can I assemble the Ultra 1 myself?
Yes. The Ultra 1 ships mostly assembled; you need only lift the touchscreen into place and plug it in. Because of the product weight, we recommend two people for unboxing and placement to prevent strain and position the reformer where you want it.
How is the Ultra 1 shipped?
The Ultra 1 ships by freight in a reinforced crate that protects the aluminum frame and HD touchscreen during transport. Delivery options include curbside and White Glove service based on your selection at checkout.
Is the Ultra 1 Reformer HSA/FSA eligible?
Customers can use HSA or FSA funds to buy a reformer, but eligibility depends on your plan and administrator. Check with your benefits provider—some require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) or prior approval—then save your invoice and product documentation for reimbursement.
What is the warranty on the Ultra 1?
The Ultra 1 Reformer includes a 5-year frame warranty plus 12-month tablet and components coverage, along with VIP Sales concierge support. Review your product documentation and warranty terms at nordictrack.com/terms for complete terms and any regional variations.
Can I create multiple user profiles on one iFIT account?
Yes. An iFIT Pro membership supports up to five individual profiles, so each household member keeps separate workout history, goals, and class recommendations. Profiles require an iFIT account; some advanced features require iFIT Pro for each profile as applicable.
How do I connect a heart rate monitor to the Ultra 1?
The Ultra 1 supports Bluetooth® heart rate monitors. First, ensure that you are on an iFIT Pro Membership and are logged in on the reformer’s console. To pair, put your monitor in pairing mode, enable Bluetooth on the console, and follow the on-screen prompts. Once connected, real-time heart rate and Smart Spine™ metrics display during workouts.
How do I update the software on the Ultra 1?
Updates install automatically when the machine is connected to Wi-Fi, so no manual steps are needed. Keep the Ultra 1 online to get the latest features and security fixes, and check for updates in Settings if desired.
How do I clean and maintain the Ultra 1?
To clean and maintain your RX-S, use a damp cloth to wipe down the carriage, frame, and the top of the solid spine after each session. For difficult spots, use a few drops of a mild household cleaner, but never use bleach-based cleaning products. For further service or parts, follow the maintenance schedule in your manual or contact the VIP Concierge.
