Great Bar

I have a partial tear in my rotator cuff and have been unable to squat for the past three years (impingement prevents me from getting my shoulder back to hold the bar.) The safety squat bar allows me to squat pain-free. The bar is well balanced and comes with dense neck and shoulder padding. I am extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it for anyone with shoulder issues or even for those concerned about safety when squatting. This squat bar allows you to load on the weight with confidence. I'm back to squatting once again and I couldn't be happier!

This is a decent safety squat bar and a cost effective alternative to the $400+ models out there.
The padding is decent and sits well on the shoulders. You'll have to adjust your j-hooks a bit higher than on the barbell squat. It is balanced, but not well enough to be hands-free like you see with some more expensive versions. Personally, I don't think this is a big deal. I've had upwards of 450lbs on this bar and it has held up well.

I absolutely LOVE this bar. This is the ONLY bar out there that has the proper angles that does not cost more than $500.00. It takes the strain off the shoulders and forearms and allows you to hit the back and legs hard. It is as comfortable to use as a leg press but better as you still maintain a compound movement.

This is a great deal for the price. Previously was using The Rogue SSB before Gyms closed with 600lbs +. Actually prefer this bar. It is pretty solid. The Padding is comfortable. Going to be putting this to the test with 600-700lbs. (has a 1000lbs capacity) So far extremely happy and glad I purchased this. Only one small criticism and similiar to all SSB brands/models (I've used) is the bar sometimes slides in the groove of the foam pads, So just applied electrical tape to keep in place. Minor problem, But every SSB brand, I've used had the same issue (have tried 3 different brands) Looking forward to hitting some heavy SSB squats and Good-morning variations. Very happy with purchase, quality and can not beat this price.
