    Very happy

Love this bench. It’s great quality and rugged. I got the key extension piece as well and it is my new favourite piece of equipment in my gym.

    Weight bench

Excellent quality construction. Easy to adjust and solid. Particularly like the decline setting option. Package is quite heavy and you will need assistance in unloading.

    The Monkey Bench

I’ve been using the bench for awhile now and I’m completely satisfied with its fit and functionality. I use it for mainly incline decline flat chest workout. It works well for shoulder and biceps workouts also. Great bench fir the money. The adjustable seat is a worthwhile feature. This is a recommendable home gym bench.

    Happy Monkey

OK, I’d like to start this review with giving a 5 star rating to the Treadmillfactory staff and customer service personnel. I had a minor problem with the assembly and The Treadmillfactory responded immediately to my email regarding the bench and helped me fix the problem quickly. Now for the bench. Its a really good bench. Every part of the bench is made of quality material and the manufacturers build is excellent. Exceptional support from thick padded seat and backrest. A simple thing like the having the angle degrees on the frame take the guesswork out getting the right angle for incline pressing and shoulder pressing. Its easy to move with the wheels. The leg attachment I purchased functions as expected. Overall the bench performance is as expected. I would recommend this bench. It looks and performs like a commercial bench. Great value. And, never hesitate to contact The Treadmillfactory for assistance with your DIY assembly.

    Pros and Cons

I like to start by saying. The Extreme Monkey is a solid well made bench. However it has positive and negative design features. Firstly I would characterize this design as primarily an incline decline bench. When the bench is in 0 degree it’s is slightly declined not flat level. The website picture looks level but it’s not. The gap between the seat and back rest when at 0 is irritating and uncomfortable. So I used a Monkey pad to fill the gap and that solved the uncomfortable gap problem. I used a 5/8 socket to lift the back rest to flat level position. These hacks make the bench comfortable for doing flat bench press. The interesting thing I noticed when benching in 0 degree slightly declined it felt like I had more power and could do more reps then when adjusted to flat position? Something to think about. The padding is thick and gives good back support. It’s great for all incline lifting. The leg attachment is decent well made like the bench. It’s easy to attach and remove from bench. It’s a big solid bench and the wheels make it easy to move around effortlessly. To summarize I’d recommend this bench even with my perceived negatives which may not be negative to someone else.
