NordicTrack AirGlide 16: Buying Guide & FAQs
The NordicTrack AirGlide 16 Elliptical NTEL71426 pairs a 16" tilting touchscreen with 26 resistance levels and a 19" auto-adjustable stride. Its elevation ranges from -5° decline to 15° incline, giving you a way to vary the movement alongside resistance rather than changing pedalling effort alone.
Who should consider the AirGlide 16?
It suits buyers who want a continuous elliptical motion with guided workouts on a built-in screen. Oversized cushioned pedals and moving handles are worth trying for fit. Check that the stride and hand positions suit you across several resistance and elevation settings.
How is it different from the X16 Elliptical?
The X16 lists a longer 32" adjustable stride and a different elevation range measured in percent. The AirGlide 16 lists a 19" stride and elevation in degrees. Those numbers describe different designs; compare the actual movement and use the same units when assessing incline.
Can I change settings while holding the handles?
The listing includes integrated handle controls for resistance and elevation, so you can make adjustments while maintaining your position. Start with settings that let you keep a controlled motion and comfortable reach rather than aiming immediately for the highest resistance.
Will it fit under my ceiling?
The listed footprint is 70.2" L x 24.6" W x 67.4" H, with a 300 lb user capacity. Allow for pedal movement, the user’s height through the full stroke and the operating clearance in the manual. The top of the machine is not the same as the user’s highest position.
What do connected workouts require?
Full iFIT content and connected adjustment features need a compatible paid membership and internet access. Confirm what the purchase includes, the renewal terms and any separate subscriptions needed for available entertainment services.
What should I confirm before ordering?
Measure the room and delivery route, then ask about assembly and the applicable home-use warranty. Contact The Fitness Factory for help comparing the AirGlide and longer-stride elliptical options.
