NordicTrack RW700 Rower: Buying Guide & FAQs
The NordicTrack RW700 NTRW15125 combines a 10" pivoting touchscreen with 26 levels of Silent Magnetic Resistance. It suits buyers who want guided rowing on the machine’s own display while keeping screen size more modest than the larger RW900. This guide refers to the NTRW15125 generation on this page.
Who is the RW700 a good fit for?
Consider it if you want seated rowing sessions with digitally controlled resistance and a built-in training display. The ergonomic handle and oversized pedals are practical details to try in person. Check the catch position, handle reach and foot adjustment rather than choosing only by the resistance count.
RW700 or RW900: what matters most?
Our RW900 NTRW19425 listing has a 24" tilt-and-pivot screen, while this RW700 has a 10" pivoting screen. Both listings offer 26 resistance levels. Compare viewing distance, off-rower training plans and the exact machine dimensions before paying for the larger display.
How much room does rowing require?
The listed footprint is 81.3" L x 24.8" W x 45.4" H, with a 300 lb maximum user weight. Leave additional clearance for mounting, handle travel and movement around the machine as directed by the manual. Do not assume it folds or supports upright storage without checking the model’s instructions.
What does magnetic resistance mean?
It describes how the machine creates resistance against your stroke. The digital levels let you change the load; your technique and stroke rate also influence how demanding a session feels. Begin with a setting that allows a controlled leg drive, body swing and arm finish.
What needs an iFIT membership?
Full trainer-led content and connected adjustment features require a compatible paid iFIT plan and internet access. Confirm the current package and renewal terms for this model. Entertainment services may need their own subscriptions.
What should I check before delivery?
Measure the long access route into the room, including turns and stairs. Contact The Fitness Factory to confirm availability, assembly options and whether this RW700 generation is the best fit for your space.
