Matrix E50 Elliptical with XR Console

I have had this model for over a year now and I use it a minimum of five times per week. It has very smooth and noise-free moving parts. One of the best ellipticals that I have ever used. I have an XR console with an internet connection. I must say that the XR WiFi connection and the Viafit app are not the best. I see that the newer models of the XR console have switched to the Bluetooth version. (most likely because the WiFi model has design issues) I have had three service calls to Matrix on the internet connectivity with three service visits. It seems the inconsistent internet function of the XR console is a mystery to the service people as well. Matrix told me that they would replace my "suspect" XR unit, but they never did. They went silent. My XR console seems to work connecting to the Internet for a few weeks and then it won't connect. I sometimes get a "WIFI faiL" notice on my XR panel and then the console won't let me choose my exercise type. The machine locks up until I unplug it and reset it. A big pain and unexpected for such a high price machine., The mechanical parts of the A50 are great, but their WiFi XR console sucks as well as the service response from Matrix. They are very slow to react to service calls and repairmen show up not knowing how to fix things. I am praying that I don't get any mechanical issues with my elliptical since I have no confidence that Matrix would quickly service my machine or know how to repair it. For now, I have to give the machine a 4 out of 5 because it gives a great workout, is quiet and the mechanical parts seem very durable. If only they could fix their unreliable, finicky XR WiFi console.
