NordicTrack Step Climber: Buying Guide & FAQs
The NordicTrack Step Climber NTEL10825 uses a stair-stepping motion with 22 digital resistance levels and a 10" touchscreen. It is a different choice from a treadmill or long-stride elliptical, with a workout centred on repeated stepping rather than a moving running belt.
Who should consider a Step Climber?
Consider it if you enjoy a stepping motion and want to vary effort through resistance settings. The oversized cushioned pedals and multi-grip handles give you different contact points to assess for comfort. Try the movement where possible, especially if you are deciding between stepping and a longer elliptical stride.
Step Climber or Step Climber XL?
Both listings have 22 resistance levels and the same stated footprint. The XL has a 16" screen compared with this model’s 10" screen. Do not assume “XL” automatically means a larger floor footprint; compare the exact features and decide whether the extra screen size matters.
How much room does it need?
The listed footprint is 51.3" L x 31.2" W x 65.5" H, with a 325 lb user capacity. Leave room to mount and dismount, and check the ceiling for the user at the top of the stepping motion. The machine’s height alone is not a ceiling-clearance measurement.
Does it work like a continuous stairmill?
The listed design uses stepping pedals with digitally adjustable resistance. It is a different mechanism from a commercial stairmill with a continuously rotating staircase. Compare the movement and feel directly if you are trying to recreate a particular gym workout at home.
What do connected classes require?
Full iFIT content and connected features need a compatible paid membership and internet access. Confirm purchase requirements, any included period and renewal terms for this offer. Available entertainment services may also need separate subscriptions.
What should I check before delivery?
Measure the access route and ask about assembly and setup in your chosen room. The Fitness Factory team can help compare the two Step Climber screens and confirm delivery options for your address.
